AMMILVETS ANGLERS:

Mission Statement
We the AMMILVETS ANGLERS are a patriotic group of anglers who are loyal to our Nation and uphold our military oath to uphold the constitution of the United States of American against all enemies foreign and domestic with unwavering respect for our countries flag “Old Glory”.  We are committed to the freedom of this Nation, to provide community service and Fellowship, and to preserve and support the aims and goals of the American Military Veterans Foundation (AMMILVETS).

Purposes

In fulfillment of our Mission, the AMMILVETS ANGLERS adheres to the following purposes:

  • To support, promote, advocate, and facilitate recreational fishing activities that provide educational opportunities for members and their families.
  • To support, promote, advocate, and facilitate an environment that fosters fishing etiquette and sportsmanship among members and their families.
  • To support, promote, advocate, and facilitate fishing activities that provide recreational fishing trips for veterans, active duty members, and their families.
  • To support, promote, advocate, and facilitate recreational fishing activities that provide educational opportunities for youth in the community.
  • To support the initiatives and programs of The American Military Veterans Foundation (AMMILVETS)

Membership

Membership in the National AMMILVETS ANGLERS shall be limited to members in good standing of AMMILVETS, AMMILVETS AUXILIARY.

HONORARY MEMBERSHIPS are granted in instances where circumstances and/or qualifications merit such distinction and shall be limited to citizens who are not eligible for regular membership. Post AMMILVETS ANGLERS may grant one Honorary Membership per year.

Eligibility

To be eligible for membership in The American Military Veterans Foundation (AMMILVETS), you must have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, including the National Guard or Reserves, any time after Sept. 01, 1939. Additionally, unless still serving, your discharge must have been under honorable conditions.

To be eligible for membership in the AMMILVETS AUXILIARY shall be limited to the all descendants, husbands, wives, grandfathers, grandmothers, fathers, mothers, widowers and widows of members regardless of age, and to the brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, stepsons, and stepdaughters not less than 18 years of age, of deceased veterans who would have been eligible for membership in The American Military Veterans Foundation (AMMILVETS).
